Gender-magical tea party! Mara and the Bad Wolf

You're cordially invited...

Sunday, November 24th from 2-4 PM at The Thomas More Institute, 3405 Atwater Ave, Montreal, hosted in collaboration with Argo Bookshop.

Kids (and grownups!) of all genders are invited to join author Ké Kampeas-Rittenhouse and I for a gender-magical tea party to launch their début children’s book Mara and the Bad Wolf, a modern fairytale about finding your magic and following your own path. The Townships Sun calls the book, aimed at readers aged 7+, “riveting… carefully crafted and lushly illustrated… in a word: ‘genius’.”

Come dressed up in your most gender-magical outfit—a special scarf, a witchy hat, a colorful costume… whatever makes you feel sparkly and powerful—and you could win an awesome door prize! Enjoy delicious tea party treats and a reading from the book, then get your photo taken in our magical Polaroid photo booth and stop by the oracle table, where Ké will reveal your secret powers using handmade oracle cards.

Don’t miss this whimsical and welcoming event!

Attendance is free for all — RSVP on TicketSource!
