Additional information: This mannequin head is a tribute to the 1960's mod fashion. Mod was a subculture, which started in the 1960's in London, and then spread throughout the UK, until it reached worldwide recognition. Focused on music and fashion, the subculture had its roots in a small group of stylish London-based young men in the late 1950s who were termed modernists because they listened to modern jazz.

I also drew inspiration from Twiggy, a famous 60's fashion model, known for her faril figure and bold, doll-like makeup. The mannequin's head can be exhibited in natural light, or UV light, hence the title "Positive and Negative". Apart from artistic value, this head can be used for storing jewellery, hats or scarves.
